In a recent incident, A Bajaj Dominar 400 which was driving at a very high speed collided with a bus when the bus apllied brakes. As a result the Bajaj Dominar 400 ended up ramming into the rear of the bus. But the good thing was that the Dominar 400's chassis remained unaffected from the clash and so did the upside down forks. Although the LED headlights, tank cowls and handle bars were civiarly damaged. The rider is alright and has incurred some injuiries.
Bajaj Dominar 400 has passed the durability test but it is to be kept in mind that it is not safe to ride behind a bus at high speed. And the accident took place in a crowded city, it was a result of lack of awareness of the rider. And must be understood that a bike with an ABS and disc brakes does not guarantee road safety. The rider has to take adequate amount of precautions and obey traffic rules. With access to a wide market with more powerful bikes, the safety awareness has also beocome essential. Love for bikes is a great thing, but with full fledged knowledge about the machine and must respct it's power instead of abusing it. Also road safety awareness and riding instructions should also be taken care of for young riders.
