The 2017 BMW i3 with 50 percent more mileage has been recently launched internationally. The car now gets a 33 kWh battery unit instead of the older 22 kWh, providing a total of 183 kms on a single charge. The range extender is still available providing 150 extra kilometers to the ride.
The car now weighs more at 1343 kg while the range extender version goes 1467 kg. The car gets a 2-cylinder 650 cc petrol motor in the range extender version. This adds 38 HP to the existing 170 HP and 249 Nm power figures of the car. It completes a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 7 seconds.
The shades on the car includes Capparis White and Fluid Black, along with four metallic ones named Protonic Blue, Mineral Grey, Platinum Silver and Ionic Silver.
