Volkswagen is quite large when it comes to volumes as they currently run 340 model lineups across all the brands and wishes to cease operations of atleast 40 by the coming years. VW has lost a lot of reputation due to its recent diesel engine scandal while its new gameplan named 'Together-Strategy 2025' will help the carmaker achieve its new target.
Volkswagen group currently owns many volume generators like Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Skoda, Seat and VW. The introduction of electric powertrains would be first done in everyday cars while on the other hand, the cars with high performance figures may get electric motors as power boosters. VW may develop a fully electric sportscar for itself in the coming years.
