Rolls-Royce, British luxury carmaker has finally launched the Dawn convertible at Rs 6.25 crore(ex-showroom) for the Indian market. Although the manufacturer says that the car's bodywork has been redesigned by 80 percent but the Dawn shares its underpinnings with the Wraith coupé.
The 2,560 kg Dawn convertible is powered by the same 6.6 litre 570hp V12 engine mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The royal car has got high-quality materials such as leather, wood and knurled aluminium used for its interiors. Beyond the features like customization, the unique thing about Dawn is a noise-free cabin unlike other cards which are too noisy even with the room in place. Rolls-Royce stands apart from the crowd here. It is known to be world's quietest convertible with its six-layered fabric roof. Rolls-Royce has claimed that the Dawn is as silent as the Wraith and this is something we can believe without any doubt. Another thing that would remind you off the car's obsession with silence is its lowest fan speed called as 'Soft' and not 'Low'.
Truly, the Rolls-Royce is an unbeatable legend and the garage queen.
