Honda will be discontinuing the CBR600RR from the Europe lineup next year as the bike would not be able to meet up the Euro 4 standards to be implemented next year. The motorcycle may never come to India but its chances to stay alive in the US are high as their is no such restriction in that market.
Indian would also be moving on the BS4 norms from April 2017 and the government has provided a grace period for existing bikes. The only sure point is that many models would also face the axe in India and the hope is on the only thing that everyone safely shifts before its too late for the fans.
Honda CBR600RR is powered by a 599 cc engine producing 118 BHP @ 13,500 rpm and 66 Nm @ 11,250 rpm. It was a dream of many eyes in India while people here were recently served with the mild CBR650F in the superbike category.
