The Maruti Suzuki has finally revealed the facelift for the S-Cross. Some of the features like new projector headlamps with LED DRLs, new upright chrome grille with vertical slats, a bigger air dam featuring a skid plate, a redesigned bumper with chrome trims, and power bulges on the bonnet inspired from Mercedes-AMG were already revealed by spy images earlier.
The S-cross will also come along with new alloy wheels. However, there are no changes expected on the sides and the rear end. The interior of the car is built well with a new infotainment system, new seat coverings with contrast stitching, new instrument cluster with MID and also new trim options for the dashboard.
The production for the face-lifted version has already started in Europe . The new model is expected to makes its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October 2016. The new S-Cross is powered by Suzuki’s new, 1.4-litre Boosterjet petrol direct-injection, turbocharged motor capable to generate 140 Hp and 220 Nm. The 1.6 litre diesel engine will also be available on offer.
The Indian markets will have S-Cross in already existing 1.3 litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines. But the 1.6 litre diesel engine will be available only on made-to-order option only. The diesel engines may be joined by a 1.5-litre petrol engine apart from the 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine from the Baleno RS concept.
