2016 Hyundai Elantra would be launched in the country on 23 August 2016. The car was first displayed at Los Angeles Auto Show and carries the next generation design language by Hyundai. It will compete against Chevrolet Cruze, Skoda Octavia and Toyota Corolla Altis in the Indian market.
The car will most probably carry the same engines in a different state of tune. It uses LED front DRL's and rear LED taillights. The projector headlights are equipped with high beam assist for better driving in the night time. The choice of transmission would be between 6-speed manual as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The car should be priced aggressively and one can expect the price between INR 15-19 lakh for the new Elantra.
