Tata introduces Zest Sports Special Edition to celebrate 50,000 sales

As a mark to celebrate 50,000 unit sale achievement, Tata Motors has launched its Zest compact sedan in Sports Edition. The Sports Edition is essentially a dealer-level accessory kit which is being offered at an extra cost for all variants of the Zest.

Along with this the Sports Edition also gets tri-colour body graphics on the doors, red ORVMs and a red body kit. Along with this, alloy wheels and rain visors are also included in the Special Edition package. The company has also come up with various offers on the Zest compact sedan. These include EMI options, insurance schemes and bonus offers. Starting with offers on list: an EMI scheme of Rs. 3,999 per month, an exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000, free insurance worth Rs. 33,000 along with various other benefits of up to Rs. 68,000.

The Zest Special Edition involves no mechanical changes and will continue to derive its power from the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that can develop 89 Bhp and 140 Nm of torque along with a 1.3-litre, turbocharged diesel unit available in two power states 74 Bhp and 89 Bhp. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox which is standard. And the 89 BHP diesel gets an AMT unit as well.
