It's not even six months that the Bugatti Chiron was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and reports from Car and Driver suggests that at least 200 people have placed orders for the $2.7 million Bugatti Chiron. It has been seen that most high-end exotics sell out almost instantly once they are unveiled but this has not been the case with Bugatti cars. It may be because the French marque had to face troubles to shift all 450 units of the Veyron because of high price, astronomical repair and high maintenance cost.
But the Chiron proves to more acceptable and popular among the privileged elite maybe because now they know the unrivalled quality that Bugatti offers. Since the Chiron is just limited to 500 examples, the current waiting lists can even go beyond a period of three years.
In order to secure a Chiron, prospective customers have deposit a fully-refundable 200,000 euro ($226,000) which is more than the price of some fairly impressive supercars. For now, it is difficult to predict when the customer deliveries will begin but first few finished cars will definitely reach out few customers before the year says goodbye.
