What is the most important update is the revised platform for the new Jaguar XF. The Jaguar XF features aluminium architecture which is 80kg lighter than its competition. The launch of Jaguar XF in India would mean tough competition to BMW 5-Series, Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E Class.
The 2016 iteration of the Jaguar XF has got more pronounced lines on the hood, mild changes on the shoulder line, F-type styled lights on the rear, brand name etched on the boot lid, wheel options that include 18-inch and 20-inch as per the variant.
Coming to the dimensions, the new jaguar XF has got 4,954 mm length, 2960 mm wheelbase, increased kneeroom by 15 mm and headroom by 27 mm. The cabin gets a new steering wheel,12.3-inch TFT touchscreen display powered by Jaguar’s new InControl Touch interface. The Jaguar XF has got the new 2-litre Ingenium diesel engine which can generate power of 163 PS to 180 PS. Along with this, the XF will have a performance-centric V6 twin-turbo motor that can make 300 PS. Bookings have already started by Jaguar dealerships in India for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.
