Renault has been enjoying a good time since the launch of Kwid hatchback in India. The car has crossed the 10,000 unit benchmark by selling 10,719 units in the month of August 2016. This brings the Rank 7 to the car among top 10 selling cars in India in the month of August.
The rise in sales number can be credited to the launch of Kwid 1.0L. The carmaker plans to sell more than 1,25,000 Kwid's by the end of this year. The price difference of just INR 22,000 from the 800 cc Kwid will soon make the 1000 cc version more popular among those who wish to have more performance along with the budget constraint.
Kwid has been highly localized and comes with a 7 inch MediaNAV, digital instrument console, optional driver airbag and seat belt pre-tensioners.
