Mahindra has launched the Bolero Power+ which is infact the sub-four-meter Bolero and is priced at Rs 6.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Navi Mumbai). Bolero Power+ features signature front grille and masculine bumpers, contemporary body decals, blue vision headlamps and dual tone interiors.
The Bolero Power+ is 3,995mm long, 1,745mm wide and 1,880mm high which makes it slightly shorter than the standard Bolero by 112 mm. This has been done by altering the front and rear bumpers. The Bolero Power+ has got similar interiors as the Bolero with more cushioned seats. The interiors of the new Bolero also features Driver Information System (DIS), digital instrument cluster, voice messaging system, fuel-saving Micro Hybrid technology.
The Bolero Power+ has got a new 1,493cc, 3-cylinder, 1.5-litre engine dubbed mHawkD70, that can deliver 71hp at 3,600 rpm and 195Nm of torque at 1,400-2,200rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The new engine has got a fuel efficiency of 16.5 kpl as compared to the Bolero 2.5’s 15.96 kpl.
Bolero Power+ is being offered in three trim levels SLE, SLX and ZLX. The top-spec ZLX comes equipped with premium features like: Mahindra’s Micro Hybrid system, body-coloured wing mirrors, an audio player with Bluetooth/USB/AUX/CD, rear washer and wiper etc. Along with this, Mahindra is also offering a three-year/ one-lakh km warranty on the Bolero Power+.
This is cheaper than the regular Bolero SLE (Rs 7.59 lakh) by Rs 1 lakh.
