According to SIAM(Society of Indian Automobile Manufactures), Maruti Vitara Brezza is the highest selling utility vehicle in India for the period Apr-Aug 2016. The sales figure for Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza compact SUV were 41, 484 units in the period of April-August, 2016. This figure is quite high as compared to others like the sales figure for Hyundia Creta was found to be 39,088 units, Toyota Innova at 35, 693 units, Mahindra Bolero at 22, 673 units and Ford EcoSport at 21, 564 units.
This clearly shows the high demand of Vitara Brezza which has been increasing ever since its launch on 8th March 2016. The bookings for Maruti's SUV has already crossed the 1.2 lakh mark and the current waiting period is between 7-10 months.
And the rising demand has made the company increase production of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza upto 10,000 units per month.
Currently, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is available in LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi, ZDi+ and ZDi+ variants. The automaker is expected to launch new variants in the coming months. The 1.2 liter petrol engine with manual transmission and AMT is expected to be launched by early 2017.
