Kawasaki has silently launched the Ninja 300 KRT Edition in India at INR 3.61 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). It has been a replacement for the Special Edition Ninja 300 launched last year and even the price has been kept the same as before.
KRT here stands for Kawasaki Racing Team and this edition follows the same visual language as Kawasaki's race team livery at World Superbike Championship. The theme here is Black and Green with Kawasaki Racing Team stickers, badges and Black lower fairing.
Mechanically, the motorcycle stays the same and uses the 296 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected, twin cylinder motor producing 39 PS @ 11000 rpm and 27 Nm @ 10000 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and could be the last Special Edition for 2016 Ninja 300, before a new design arrives internationally.
