Kawasaki might surprise the Indian markets with it's retro styled performed Kawasaki W800. It was recently spotted at an Indian showroom which means that it might as well be available for sale in the country very soon.
The models comes packed with impressive styling tweaks added on the model. They include chromed-out fenders, rear view mirrors, exhaust pipe, circular headlamps and wire spoked Wheels. The vintage class bike also comes with a tear-drop shaped fuel tank. In this segment Kawasaki W800 falls in the same category as Triumph Bonneville and Ducati Scrambler.
The bike runs on a 773 cc paralle twin cylinder air cooled engine which gives out a power of 48 bhp and a torque of 68 Nm. It comes with a 5 speed gearbox. The bike has front telescopic fork suspension and twon coil rear suspension. The bike also comes with 300 mm front and rear disc brakes.
The bike is no longer on sale in the European market due to strict emission norms. But it is still selling the W800 range in East Asia and Indonesia. The bike will no be manufactured here and will most likely be imported from East Asian market. A model like this is expected to come at an ex-showroom price of 10 lakhs.
