2017 will mark as a benchmark for improved technology especially for the electrically driven vehicles. Basically technology is pushing benchmarks and bringing more innovation right from personal electronic skateboards to any sort of rideable vehicles. Volkswagen might also launch their first electric e-crafter van as soon as this year in 2017. So you can predict some major changes in the market.

For example electronic skateboards, thank's to the ever better designs with motors are becoming a new trend for city commute across various developed nations. We cannot underestimate the future demand for electronic vehicles in the future. And 2017 will also see some changes in the market.

These electric vehichles might work for 2 reasons one is the cost effectiveness and the other factor being the convenience of owning them. Not to mention it is also an environment-friendly way of going about. Also it is estimated that given the improved technology, these might even replace the regular bikes/cars in the next 50 years.

One such elegant example of this change is The Arcimoto SRK which is an elegant 3 wheeler motorcycle which was unveiled at CES 2016. It has already gotten rave reviews from enthusiasts. It can go upto 112 kilometres in a single charge and with a top speed of 128 kmph. It is priced at $ 11,900 currently on sale in the US.

Recently India also saw the launch of Tork T6X by a Pune based company which is an elctrical bike with a torque of 27 Nm at a price of Rs 1.25 lakhs. It goes to a top speed of 100 kmph and goes upto 100 kilometres in a single charge.

It seems like the world market will mature overall with the coming of more technologies and even hybrid cars which run on electronic engine for better mileage. The BMW i8 is also one classic example. It has cutting edge technology but not everybody can afford it. However in the coming time more companies will adopt and start-ups willl appear making these vehicles more affordable with an increased driving range. Best is yet to be seen.
