Unfortunately, the KTM RC 125 is not available in India as the least displacement motorcycle on sale currently is the RC 200. The KTM RC 125, 200 and 390 share most of the parts with each other and launching the 125 cc super sport motorcycle in India won't let the pricing be right for the smallest engine on the race series from the Austrian bike maker.
USD forks, digital instrument console, thick tyres, same frame and projector headlights makes the bike identical to the RC 200 and the change in engine could not being down the price of the bike to INR 1,20,000 in any case. This when matched to the dual channel ABS cost would make it cost INR 15,000 more than a R15.
It's best to wait for the new RC 200 with new body graphics and dual channel ABS. The motorcycle is good for 24.65 Bhp and 19.2 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and retails for INR 1,69,000. It never feels under powered and completes 0-100 kmph sprint in 9.3 seconds.
