BMW G310R is undoubtedly the most awaited product in the entry level performance motorcycle segment. It is built at the TVS Hosur plant and exported worldwide through the BMW-TVS partnership. The same will soon make its official entry in India as BMW has announced that they will bring the G310R in the first half of 2017.
This could even mean that its arrival can be planned in March, April or May this year. June has been assumed for the safe side as fans would get disappointed if March is made the new sure shot month. The motorcycle will rival the recently launched 2017 KTM 390 Duke, carrying a price tag of INR 2,25,730 (ex-showroom Delhi).
This even hints that the BMW G310R will not be placed under INR 2 lakh in any circumstances. The motorcycle is powered by 313 cc, single cylinder engine producing 33.6 BHP and 28 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and claims a top speed of 143 kmph.
