A game changer from Renault, the KWID has gathered a total of 1.25 lakh bookings since it's launch last year. The car has presented itself as the best available package in the hatchback segment, catering the needs of both entry level hatchback buyers as well as customization lovers of the country.
The car comes equipped with a 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 54 BHP and 72 Nm of torque, returning a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.2 kmpl. The car is available currently with a 5-speed manual transmission and prices start from INR 2.67 lakh.
The car brought strict competition to Maruti Alto 800 and Hyundai Eon while offering a large number of features over both the cars. It comes with 300 liters of boot space while the ground clearance on offer is 180 mm. The big engined 1.0 L KWID is on it's way to the entry, further bringing challenge other products in its class.
