The first dealership for BMW range of bikes will be made official in Pune from the 14th of April and the company will also be launching their two-wheeler models in India on the same date as expected. The news comes much to the amusement of BMW bike enthusiasts all over the country. Bavaria Motors in Pune is the first official BMW Motorrad dealer in the country.And hopefully BMW will make an entry in the two-wheeler segment in the same date.
The company had made it very clear in the 2016 Auto Expo that they intend to enter the Indian market. Some models like the BMW G310 R have already created a following with the Indian biking fans, which was also displayed by the company on Auto Expo. But it is said that the BMW G310 R and BMW G310 GS will not be launched in India till 2018, which is dissapointing.
The new dealership will be selling CBU bikes which will be priced lower than the curent BMW bike prices. BMW Motorrad has shortlisted 5 more locations for their dealerships including Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai.
