The Indian market in the two wheeler segment has caught quite an uproar in the last few days thanks to BS4 compliant emission norms made compulsory by the Government starting next month. All the companies are now attempting to attract customers to sell bikes with BS3 compliant engines. These discounts are only s strategy to clear stocks.
The BS3 compliant engine bikes which are unsold will only be available till 31st March 2017 of this month. Only BS4 compliant bikes can be sold from next month. All major Indian companies like Bajaj, TVS and Hero are offering lucrative discounts in the last few days to clear stocks.
The list on all the three brand discounts has been given as follows :
Triumph Cruiser Motorcycles – Rs 3 lakh
Triumph Daytona Sport Bike – Rs 1 lakh
Triumph Adventure Bikes – Rs 60,000-80,000
Harley-Davidson Street 750 – Rs 30,000
Kawasaki Bikes – Rs 1.00-1.50 lakh
