Kawasaki has finally launched their premium Z series range of street fighter bikes including Kawasaki Z1000 R, Z1000 and Z250 variants. The company launches the new models along with updating their 2017 versions of Z900, Z650, Ninja 650 and Ninja 300. The 250 cc variant in Kawasaki Z250 is the smallest in the line-up and the Z1000 is the most powerful 1000 cc Z series variant.
The Kawasaki Z1000 is now loaded with Euro IV compliant engine without compromises on the power values. The 1000 cc variant of the Z series is powered by a 1043 cc 4 cylinder engine which generates a maximum power of 140 bhp @ 10000 rpm and produces a maximum torque of 111 Nm @ 7300 rpm. It has a top speed of 258 kmph. The Z250 on the other hand is powered by a 249 cc 2 cylinder engine and generates a maximum power of 31.5 bhp @ 11000 rpm and produces a maximum torque of 21 Nm @ 10000 rpm.
All the three models Kawasaki Z1000 , Z1000 R and Z250 cost INR 14.49 lakhs, 15.49 lakhs and INR 3.09 lakhs respectively. The 1000 R variant gets better suspension and also sports a different visual graphic design to distinguish from the regular Z1000 variant.
