According to recent media reports, Nissan India would be launching an AMT version of the Terrano during the festive season this year. The AMT unit of the Terrano will be same as the EasyR transmission offered in the Renault Duster AMT.
The existing Terrano comes with two engine options: a 1.6-litre petrol that can develop 103 BHP and a 1.5-litre diesel that can develop 84 BHP and 109 BHP. The exteriors of the AMT variant wouldn't have any changes but the interiors will get a new upholstery. Along with this touchscreen music system with navigation, and automatic climate control will come as a offer. After the Micra hatchback, the Terrano is Nissan's second best-selling car.
