The Tata Tiago has made its way to Nepal on Sunday after the automaker announced it launch officially. The new hatchback will now be available in Nepal in three trim levels: XE XM and XZ at a starting price of NPR 22.55 lakhs (ex-showroom Kathmandu).
The Tata Tiago has been launched in both Revotron petrol engine and Revotorq diesel engine in Nepal. The 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine is capable to produce 85 PS (83.80 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque. On the other hand, the 1.05-litre three-cylinder diesel engine can develop 70 PS (69.01 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 1,800-3,000 rpm.
The transmission will be done through 5-speed manual gearbox which is standard and the car doesn't offer automatic transmission. The Tata Tiago petrol and Tata Tiago diesel has got an ARAI-rated fuel economy of 23.84 km/l and 27.28 km/l respectively.
The main features of the Tata Tiago include: ConnectNext infotainment system by Harman with Turn-by-Turn Navi app and the Juke-Car app, dual-tone interior scheme, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and Corner Stability Control and front airbags. The color shades for Tata Tiago are: SunBurst Orange, Striker Blue, Berry Red, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White and Platinum Silver.
