Tata Hexa is something different from the products Tata used to manufacture in the MPV/SUV segment. Known for their rough behavior on roads, the SUV segment was gradually went from Tata's hand to Mahindra. Even the Toyota Innova was one reason why Tata cars were not selling in great numbers from a long time.
Changing the common man's view about Tata cars, Hexa was driven for 8,00,000 km across 3 Continents namely Australia, Asia and Europe. Heavily tested and carefully built, Tata Hexa will be an exclusive story for the brand. It has been tested between -20 degree to 50 degree Celsius.
Competing against Toyota Innova and Mahindra XUV500, Tata has very carefully planned the components of the car, choosing premium vendors for best ever impression. Hexa will be offered with the Varicor 400 engine, mated to 6-speed manual / 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The components have been sourced from famous firms like Lear Corporation (Mercedes Benz seat supplier), JBL ( specifically designed 10 speaker system with 320 Watt DSP amplifier and subwoofer) and Borg Warner (electronic AWD system with torque on demand).
Hexa even comes with Super Drive modes while the automatic 6-speed gearbox also has a sport mode for better driving response.
