Chevrolet Cruze 2017 has made it to China markets earlier this week. The Cruze launched in China is same as that of the North American-spec model. It has been launched in seven trim levels with a starting price of RMB 1,09,900 (INR 11,02,784.71) up til RMB 1,69,900 (INR 17,04,850.98).
The 2017 Chevrolet Cruze measures 4,666 mm in length , 1807 mm in width and 1460 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2700 mm. As compared to the previous Chevrolet Cruze, the new one is 99 mm longer, 21 mm wider, 6 mm higher and has a bigger wheelbase by 38 mm. Despite, the new Cruze being bigger in every aspect, Chevrolet has added the ‘XL’ suffix to the name.
It has got a 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine which can produce 110 kW (147 hp) and 240 Nm (+5 Nm) of torque. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine develops 84 kW (112 hp) and 146 Nm of torque. But now the engine has been mated to either 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
